The first annual Pancakes & Pajamas - At a Barnyard Bash, put on by the Fort Bend Junior Service League, will be held on Saturday, February 9th, 2008 from 9am-1pm at The Honor Roll School, 4111 Sweetwater Blvd. The proceeds for the event will benefit ESCAPE Family Resource Center and Fort Bend Community Partners Rainbow Room.

Pancakes & Pajamas - At a Barnyard Bash, is entirely volunteer driven and is made up of a committee of Fort Bend Junior Service League active and provisional members and members of the Fort Bend Teen League. The committee has been working non-stop to prepare for this first ever event since May. Everything from décor, to ticket sales, to soliciting sponsors and vendors is done by the committee volunteers.

The event will have a barnyard theme and will appeal to children of all ages. There will be a pancake breakfast, games, door prizes, book fair, concessions, entertainment, and much, much more. Tickets are now on sale (Children $15 and Adults $10) for an all inclusive pass including breakfast and unlimited participation in games & activities. Children 2 and under are free.
